Today I am sharing my latest visit to Here Today (in Arnold) and what I found at their store for my backyard patio. My husband and I recently updated the patio with new stamped concrete, furniture and even a pergola! I’ve been wanting to find some accents to decorate the space with, but at an affordable price. Here Today had everything I needed at their store to complete our outdoor space.
Here Today has several other locations in the St. Louis area, such as Fenton (Gravois Bluffs), Lake St. Louis, Florissant and even Fairview Heights, IL. They just opened a store in Shrewsberry.
On the outside of the store, I saw a lot of annuals, vegetable plants and even hanging baskets!
Once I walked inside the store, I started browsing their Celebrate section. This section is where they keep seasonal items. Right now they have a lot of outdoor decor, tools, etc. in this section of the store. The name of the store is ‘Here Today‘, because a lot of their items may be in the store today, but could be gone tomorrow! This is why you want to stop in often, as they are always updating and changing their merchandise.
I was excited that they had these metal lanterns. I’ve been wanting a ‘chandelier’ to hang from the top of our pergola and this was PERFECT! They also had a great selection of fun string lights that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I picked up a box of palm tree lights that match the colors of our decorative pillows.
I also found these adorable stake flowers that open up. I regret not taking this ‘Fresh Flowers’ cart home with me! It would have looked great on my front porch.
I wanted to find some accent items to put on our coffee table outside. I strolled over to the ‘Imagine’ section in the store. This area has a lot of home decor items, candles, frames, etc.
This is what my cart looked like before I checked out. Lots of goodies for the back patio area!
Decorated Patio with Here Today Items
I will let these photos do most of the talking, but I am really pleased with how our outdoor space came together. I decided to go with blues, yellow and greens as a color scheme. I wanted to keep the space open and to decorate it so that your eyes go out of the space to the backyard. I did this by hanging the palm tree lights on the outer rafters and placing the two terra-cotta pots with flowers on each side of the chairs. I also left an opening in-between the two side chairs. I placed the stake flowers in the open space leading out of the pergola.
As you can see in this photo, the lantern really makes a terrific chandelier on the pergola! My husband made a hanger for it with his 3D printer (he has a knack for that!) and we may even put a citronella candle in it once the mosquitos become pesky!
These three items look lovely on the coffee table together! I was so excited that I could find items in the store that were yellow, green and blue to tie in with the color scheme. I plan to put these items in a storage tub with the decorative pillows when we aren’t using them, so that they don’t get damaged by rain.
Aren’t these garden flowers the cutest?
I didn’t get our pillows at Here Today, but sometimes Here Today does carry pillows and I’ve purchased them in the past. My favorite part of these pillows are the little pom poms on them!
We are really enjoying our new patio! It is so enjoyable to have a nice, bright space to lounge outside on nice days.
